I am trying to install a net printer and as soon as I click the network where it is connected, it asks for a user name and password.. It already brings a username, but I have tried every single password I have and none worked.. I have also tried to use my access login password.. doesn't work.. I don't know what to do.. How can I redefine both username and password in this case? Thanks.

is this printer connected to you network by itself or through a windows print server?
if a windows print server you will need the qualifications for that system (domain/user/pass or user/pass)
if there is someone administering the print server you may need to reach out to them.
if this is a printer connected directly to the network without a server what is the make and model and is it connected wireless or cabled?
do you have the proper drivers mac?
it is connected through a windows print server... we have also tried to use the user/pass of the administrator.. it doesn't work. I had the printer installed and it was working fine until last week.. then the printer stopped working and it keeps saying that it can't authenticate my computer.. then we decided to try to reinstall it.. and we are facing the user/pass problem now...
